How long does it take?

It is hard to say exactly because everyone’s circumstances are different. However, typically, we can complete a deal from start to finish in two to three weeks.

Do I need a solicitor?

You will need a solicitor or conveyancer to act on your behalf during the sale. We would not recommend proceeding without a solicitor or conveyancer.

How much does a solicitor cost?

Fees for a solicitor should be between £300 and £600 depending on your location and property. In most cases NortonWard Property will pay your legal fees up to a maximum of £500.

Does it matter if my home needs renovating?

No, there is no need to renovate before you contact us. We are willing to buy all sorts of properties regardless of their appearance.

Can I change my mind?

Yes at any time. However, if you pull out after you have instructed a solicitor we are not liable for any legal fees you may have incurred.

How can you buy so fast?

Several reasons:
  • We have cash waiting so we make the decision and not the bank.
  • We are not in a chain. When we decide to buy we don't need to wait on anyone else.

Finally, we pay our solicitor extra to put our work top of their queue.
